The first map on the left is Steven Stanley's map for the Tour of Historical Sites in the town of Gettysburg.  In addition to nearly two dozen stops in the town, the map also lists nine buildings that have artillery shells embedded in their walls.  The map shows the buildings of the town as they existed at the time of the Battle of Gettysburg.
The center map is one of the maps from the tour of the first day of the battle, July 1.  This shows the action as Maj. Gen. Henry Heth's Confederate division attacks the Federal 1st Corps of Maj. Gen. John F. Reynolds on McPherson Ridge as the Federals relieve Buford's cavalry.
The map on the left is one of the maps of the second day of the battle, July 2.  This map is one of the set of the fighting at Sherfy's Peach Orchard as Lt. Gen. James Longstreet's Assault begins rolling northward.  Confederate General William Barksdale's men advance upon Federals of Maj. Gen. Daniel Sickles' 3rd Corps aligned along the Emmitsburg Road and the road running southeast to George Rose's wheatfield.  Longstreet will break Sickles' line, causing one of the most virulent controversies of the Gettysburg battle - whether Sickles disobeyed Federal army commander George Meade's orders in the placement of his troops.
This map from the tour of the actions of July 3 shows the mounted cavalry charges by Brig. Gen. Elon Farnsworth's brigade of Federal Brig. Gen. Judson Kilpatrick's division.  During and after Pickett's Charge that day, Kilpatrick commanded Farnsworth to make a series of attacks upon the Confederate right flank on the southern end of the battlefield.  During the final assault, Farnsworth was mortally wounded and his death marked the end of the career of the young man who had been a brigadier for only a few days.
